Lowe’s serves Pros at the International Builders’ Show

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is the largest annual light construction show in the world, every year attracting 60,000 visitors from 100 countries. At this year’s IBS at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, Lowe’s ProServices team hosted a booth to share its resources for “Pro” customers, which include contractors, repair remodelers and specialty tradesmen, as well as property management and facility maintenance professionals.

Lowe’s has worked with the NAHB since the 1950’s, beginning at the local level with the North Carolina Home Builders’ Association and later expanding to be a national NAHB supporter. Lowe’s also sponsors NAHB Education to ensure that trades remain up to date on new technologies and techniques so that homes and commercial buildings continue to be built to the highest standard.

At the ProServices booth, IBS attendees were able to meet with vendors, see custom kitchen solutions, win prizes, enter into daily raffles and learn about the advantages and discounts available for Pros through Lowe’s.

Attendees also got a firsthand look at Jimmie Johnson’s no. 48 car with its fresh new LowesForPros paint job. On Wednesday, Jan. 10, Johnson paid a special visit to the ProServices booth for a Q&A session and autographs with fans. On the final day of the show, a winner was selected from the daily raffle to see Johnson in action at the Daytona 500.
